CUSTOM SILICONE, PVC & RUBBER PRODUCTS
Quality & Supplier Evaluation
Review project quality requirements alongside Haotian’s quality-control information and management-system certificates. For custom silicone, PVC and rubber products, define the specifications, acceptance criteria and documentation needed for your supplier evaluation.
Define Your Project’s Quality Requirements
A useful quality review starts with the product you intend to make. Your brief should identify the features that matter most, the references available and the points that still need clarification.
Appearance and Artwork
Describe the color areas, logo placement, graphic details and surface appearance you expect. Include artwork files or visual references where available, and identify details that are essential to the design. For character merchandise, distinguish molded features from graphics applied to the surface.
Dimensions and Fit
Provide drawings and identify critical dimensions, contact surfaces and fit requirements. If the product needs to match another item, include the relevant dimensions or reference component. State any required tolerances for discussion rather than assuming one standard applies to every design.
Components and Packaging
Explain which components belong in the finished product and how they should fit together. Include requirements for attachment, accessories, labels and packaging. For a set or assembled item, define what needs to be present and how the finished result will be reviewed.
Intended Use and Product Requirements
Describe the intended use, target market and any material or performance requirements in your specification. Highlight requirements that depend on a particular product, material or use condition. These details help identify what needs separate assessment and what evidence your procurement team expects.
Understand the Quality Control Approach
When evaluating the proposed control approach, connect the agreed product requirements with the stages actually used for the project. The review should address how specifications are understood, what a sample approval covers and which checks and acceptance criteria are relevant.
Specifications and Review Scope
Clarify which versions of drawings, artwork and product specifications form the review basis. Identify the requirements that have been agreed and the items still awaiting confirmation, so the discussion stays tied to your product.
Sample Approval Reference
Where a sample is used for approval, identify the characteristics it represents and any features still awaiting confirmation. Read the sample approval together with the relevant specifications, especially when appearance, fit or assembly needs a separate reference.
Applicable Checks and Acceptance
Confirm which checks are relevant, how results will be judged and what records are needed. Inspection methods, sampling arrangements and acceptance criteria should reflect the actual approach agreed for the project.
Quality Management & Production Authorization
Review Haotian’s ISO 9001:2015 quality management certificate alongside our Disney Facility and Merchandise Authorization (FAMA) document. These documents address different aspects of supplier evaluation: quality management and authorization for Disney-branded production under the relevant licensee or vendor arrangement.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
Our ISO 9001:2015 certificate covers the production of silicone craft products. For supplier qualification, review the certificate holder, stated scope, issuing body and validity against your procurement requirements.
Disney FAMA Authorization
For Disney-branded merchandise projects, review the FAMA document’s named licensee or vendor, designated facility and validity. The authorization applies to the arrangement identified in the document and should be assessed against the proposed production arrangement.
Review each document’s scope and validity against your project. Product-specific requirements, supporting evidence and applicable intellectual-property permissions need to be assessed separately.
Review Certifications & AuditsSupplier Evaluation FAQs
What should I include with my supplier evaluation questionnaire?
Include the questionnaire together with a short product description, relevant drawings or artwork and the intended market. Identify mandatory qualification items and the documents your team needs to review. If a question concerns a particular product feature or production stage, explain that context so it can be assessed against the proposed project.
Can a report for one product be used for another design or material?
A report should be assessed against the specific sample, material, test method and conditions it covers. A change in design, material, construction or intended use can affect its relevance. A result from another product should not be treated as evidence for the proposed item without assessing whether it applies.
What if a required document is not listed on this page?
Identify the document you need, the product or requirement it relates to and why your evaluation process requires it. Its availability, scope and relevance need to be confirmed. An unlisted document should not be assumed to be available, and an existing company certificate should not be used as a substitute for unrelated product evidence.
